2022 PCADV Webinar Series: Serving Families who are Experiencing Domestic Violence
The Pennsylvania Coalition Against Domestic Violence (PCADV), through its partnership with the Office of Child Development and Early Learning (OCDEL), are excited to share our 2022 webinar series to provide Family Support staff and Early Intervention staff with information and resources on important topics relating to domestic violence and your work.
Attached you will find a flyer with details regarding the five webinar’s dates and topics. Note that the first webinar in the series, Birthing People and Domestic Violence, is scheduled for March 16th, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Please note that Registration is required for the webinar.
For 2022, PCADV and OCDEL have developed a new Community of Practice focusing on domestic violence. Community of Practice sessions are open to anyone who wants to share ideas, ask questions, provide feedback, and receive support related to the crucial role you play in screening for, responding to, and empowering people affected by domestic violence. Registration is also required for the Community of Practices.
PCADV and OCDEL recognize that domestic violence is an ongoing public and community health epidemic. We understand that the more education that is available to Family Support and Home Visiting staff on the issue of domestic violence the better prepared they will be when working with survivors. For more information about tactics of abuse, please visit the PCADV website here, or reach out to your local domestic violence program. Another helpful resource may be the, Serving Families Who Are Experiencing Domestic Violence. Click to find your local program here.
Please feel free to reach out with any questions regarding the upcoming webinars to Christina Harris at c-chrishar@pa.gov. For questions related to registration, please contact
Mary Anketell at MAnketell@pattan.net.
Thank you for your time and continued support for Pennsylvania families and children
